Dolki Mala, Dual tone Dholki Necklace

Two-layered necklace made of traditional dholki (drum-shaped) beads.
Each bead is filled with wax and wrapped in a thick silver foil. Which is further plated with gold. In this necklace silver and gold plated beads alternate. All gold and all silver versions are also available. This style is traditionally worn by married women in Maharashtra and North Karnataka also known ass Bor Mala.

The necklace comes with an adjustable cotton dori thread.
It’s made to order and usually takes about 3 weeks to craft.
