Painted by hand, inspired by the block prints of Jaipur.
Think of Rajasthani block-printed cotton: a deep jewel-toned background scattered with tiny flowers called buti. That’s the inspiration for these earrings.
Each teardrop has a rich purple (jamuni) background, hand-painted with little sunshine-yellow and red flowers on mint-green stems, with tiny golden dots in between. Every flower is painted freehand, so the two earrings are a pair without being exact copies, which is the charm of real handwork.
The painting sits under a glossy finish, framed in 925 sterling silver with a border of granulated beads and a twisted wire edge. A single silver drop at the bottom adds a gentle sway.
They’re bright and joyful, and a little bit folk art. Wear them with a white kurta, a mustard or mint dress, or denim and a plain tee. They’re a lovely gift for anyone who loves colour and handmade things.
What makes it special:
- Hand-painted. Every flower is painted by hand, so no two pairs are alike.
- Buti motif inspired by Jaipur block prints
- 925 sterling silver frame with granulation and twisted wire detail
- Lightweight hook earrings, comfortable to wear all day
- Works with ethnic, Indo-western and boho outfits

Care: Take them off before showering, swimming or applying perfume, because water and chemicals can fade the painting. Wipe only the silver with a soft dry cloth, and never rub or polish the painted area. Store flat in a pouch so the paint doesn’t get scratched.
Note: Every piece is painted by hand, so small differences in the brushwork are part of what makes it unique.
