Chitai is a traditional Indian craft of hand-chasing designs into metal, line by line. On this hasli, artisans have worked flowing paisleys, swirls and leaf motifs across the curved collar, with geometric patterns near each end. The hasli sits on a red cotton thread (dori) wrapped and bound with silver thread at each end. It ties at the back, so you can wear it high as a choker or lower on the collarbone.
