One of a kind, made by hand, inspired by the deserts of India.
For generations, women across India have worn an amulet close to the heart: a small silver keepsake holding prayers, protection and a mother’s blessings. The Gulabi Amulet takes that tradition and adds a touch of colour.
The barrel-shaped amulet is handcrafted in oxidised 925 sterling silver, with gleaming domed ends and finely notched borders. In the middle, two rose-pink kemp stones, the jewel-toned stones loved in South Indian temple jewellery, sit beside two sparkling zirconia. It hangs from three star-stamped silver bails, and underneath, four clusters of silver ghungroo bells chime softly with every step.
It brings together Rajasthani tribal silver and South Indian temple jewellery in one small, story-filled piece. The pendant rests on a slim wire hasli at the collarbone. Wear it with a handloom saree for festivals, or with a shirt dress, linen co-ord or plain kurta for an easy Indo-western, boho look.
What makes it special:
- One of a kind. The pendant is handcrafted, so no two are exactly the same.
- Traditional amulet (taweez) design with a pop of pink kemp
- Oxidised 925 sterling silver, not plated metal
- Three star-stamped bails and four ghungroo clusters
- Works with ethnic, Indo-western and boho outfits
