Tribal at heart, elegant by nature.
Jaal means “lattice” or “net,” and this necklace is a lacework of silver. Rows of open silver rings form a delicate mesh, studded with pairs of clover-shaped plates, like little flowers (phool) caught in a net. Ribbed silver bars divide each section, giving the collar its rhythm. Clusters of silver ghungroo bells hang along the edge and chime softly with every move.
At each end, an engraved silver panel with floral and leaf motifs frames the design, finished with a cluster of tiny silver beads. The lightly oxidised finish brings out every ring and ridge, so it has the look of a treasured tribal heirloom from Rajasthan or Gujarat.
At 80 g of hallmarked 925 sterling silver, it has a real, reassuring weight. The open lattice keeps it flexible and comfortable, and it drapes smoothly around the neck.
It’s boho, tribal and surprisingly versatile. Wear it with a handloom or Ajrakh saree, a chaniya choli for Navratri, a white kurta, or a black dress or off-shoulder top for an effortless Indo-western look.
